Наличие сопутствующих заболеваний регистрируется у 96% пациентов ХОБЛ. Первое место среди них занимает сердечно-сосудистая патология (ишемическая болезнь сердца, артериальная гипертензия, хроническая сердечная недостаточность), которая в трети случаев является причиной смерти пациента. ХОБЛ и сердечно-сосудистые заболевания имеют общие факторы риска и общие механизмы патогенеза. Современные высокоселективные бета-адреноблокаторы (БАБ) снижают риск смертности и частоты обострений ХОБЛ, эффективны и безопасны в терапии пациентов с данной патологией.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the fourth largest cause of worldwide mortality.  Presence of comorbidities is registered in 96% of COPD patients. The most important of these are cardiovascular diseases (coronary artery disease, arterial hypertension, chronic heart failure), which contribute to COPD patients’ mortality in every third case. COPD and cardiovascular diseases have common risk factors and pathogenesis mechanisms.
